Vice is the first Aurorian I met! She helped me start Soroz up and we've been working together ever since. She's kind and cheerful and reliable. She tends to fuss a bit, like a big sister, sort of.

Carleen is kind as well, but she's more quiet and formal. She seems stern, but she just has a harder time expressing her emotions than Vice does.

Vice sounds like Iroha-chan! She's sweet and cheerful and reliable and also a big sister, so I think she's used to fussing.

And Carleen sounds like Yachiyo! You're right-- I think I'd really like them!

They've helped me out a lot. And just having them around on Soroz makes it a nicer place.

Yeah! Soroz is the name of the Colossus. It's a sentient mobile fortress, although we were stuck for a long time before Vice helped me power it up.

You were saved and raised by a sentient mobile fortress?!

W-well, to be fair! Caelestites had a lot of Colossi when there were more of us.

So when the... Ec... Eclairites...? Eclipsites? When they attacked, did they wipe out the Colossi too?

Well, a Colossus can't run without a Navigator. And if there's nobody running it, it can be dismantled the same way a machine or building could be.

A lot of them can be reconstructed if the parts still exist. But they still wouldn't be able to run without a Caelestite navigating.

I know a lot of strong people, so I copy what they do.

Aaaaaand you're humble. I saw that coming.

Well, it feels a little weird to take credit, you know? Someone hid a baby on a Colossus and that Colossus raised me, it's not like I decided to survive on my own.

I know. It sounds like a lot of it was a product of circumstance.

But-- [ she holds up a hand to start ticking off points on her fingers. ]

You met a lot of people who are now your good friends, and it sounds like they're all very different. That tells me you're someone who can draw a lot of different types to your side. You're able to use your power to help people fight, and I already know you're a good guide outside of battle. You went through a lot, but you don't seem to linger on it. You're always worrying about others more than yourself-- case in point, since you're right here just because I got a little sad. And you immediately tried to come up with a way to help me, even when I said I was dangerous. You kinda make supporting into a super power.

I'm not calling you strong just because you're the lone survivor. I'm calling you strong because of what I've noticed about you.
